Fahad Al Sharekh

Chief Executive Officer

Fahad's international background provides him a unique perspective in bringing proven technology to solve real-world problems for governments and businesses involved in global communications and commerce. Under Mr. Al Sharekh's leadership, Sakhr has produced significant growth and profit, becoming a recognized global leader in Arabic language and speech technologies. Mr. Al Sharekh holds a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University, and attended the Executive Program in Corporate Strategy at MIT Sloan School of Management.

Steven L. Skancke, Ph.D.

President

Steve has a distinguished career in the U.S. Government working on national security, intelligence, policy development, and regulatory issues in banking, tax and law enforcement. Steve launched Sakhr Software USA in 2004 with former Treasury Secretary G. William Miller. Prior, Steve served 15 years in the White House National Security Council and the U.S. Treasury Department and 20 years as a merchant banking partner of G. William Miller advising international and information technology investors. At Sakhr Software USA, Steve oversees management, development, and delivery of Arabic language and speech solutions to the U.S. federal government and commercial customers. Steve holds a Ph.D. in business economics from George Washington University.

Rami Safadi, Ph.D.

Chief Technology Officer

As CTO of Sakhr, Rami is responsible for planning and aligning Sakhr's advances in speech and language technologies with the company's strategic business goals. Rami brings to Sakhr 20+ years of experience in developing software and solutions that leverage the convergence of NLP, wireless, Internet and personal computing technologies. Rami founded UltiVerse Technologies and was CTO at Cymphony, Inc. (acquired by TNS Global NASDAQ:WPPGY). Rami is fluent in Arabic and Hebrew. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.

Tuyen Ho

Vice President, Business Development

Tuyen leads sales and marketing for Sakhr Software. Tuyen brings over 10 years of business operational experience in developing market presence and traction for high-technology companies. Most recently, Tuyen led business development and marketing at Dial Directions, served as VP of Channels at Voxify, and was VP of Client Services at Personify. Tuyen started her career as a management consultant at Deloitte Consulting and Peregrine Capital Vietnam. Tuyen holds a MA from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University, and a BA in Economics from Stanford University.

Mohammed Al Sharekh

Founder and Chairman Emeritus

Mr. Al Sharekh founded Sakhr Software in 1982 to pursue his pioneering vision of Arabic information technology. Mr. Al Sharekh has held distinguished positions in both the private and public sectors. Previously, he was Chairman and Managing Director of the Industrial Bank of Kuwait; Deputy Executive Director of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development (IBRD) in Washington D.C., and Deputy Director General of the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development. During his government service, Mr. Al Sharekh served on several committees in finance and industry, both international and domestic. Mr. Al Sharekh has a degree in Economics from Cairo University, and holds an M.A. in Economic Development from Williams College.
